The Allman Brothers Band Lyrics provided by SongLyrics. All Music News . Popular The Allman Brothers Band Lyrics.

The Allman Brothers Band is the debut studio album by American rock band the Allman Brothers Band. It was released in the United States by Atco Records and Capricorn Records on November 4, 1969 and produced by Adrian Barber. Formed in 1969, the Allman Brothers Band came together following various musical pursuits by each individual member

The Allman Brothers Band was an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, FL, in 1969 by brothers Duane Allman (founder, slide guitar and lead guitar) and Gregg Allman (vocals, keyboards, songwriting), as well as Dickey Betts (lead guitar, vocals, songwriting), Berry Oakley (bass guitar), Butch Trucks (drums), and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson (drums)

In 2003, The Allman Brothers Band released a remarkable album entitled Hittin’ the Note. This writer believed it was the best work the Allman Brothers Band had released since Eat A Peach. Gregg Allman himself, had stated in interviews that he thought the record was the best work the band had done since the early group in the 1970s. There are so many great songs on the album that could find their way into the Top 10 Allman Brothers Songs list. For a band who defined the genre of Southern Rock and brought american Blues music to the forefront, this was another that could have easily been a Top Tweny. The first two Allman Bros. albs (for me) stand out as pure classics ( The Allman Bros and Idlewild South ) Both purely amazing from beginning to end.
