How to Swim are an pop/rock band from Glasgow, United Kingdom. How to Swim were formed at Glasgow School of Art in late 2000 by Gregor Barclay (vocals and guitar), then a 1st year architecture student. HTS began as a six piece, comprising Barclay and fellow undergraduates: bassist Tang Chi Meng, percussionist Michael Bates, drummer Benedict Radcliffe, guitarist Mark Chapman and t Anna Webster

An interesting debut that showcases little more than what quickly became generic. Without those, Noogie's debut was meandering and uninspired. Released in April of 2000, the band's Remote Controller redid six of the songs on Learn to Swim, including "Danger," "Mr. Fabulous," and "Meantime.
