I can't help myself Bad habits I'm running wild Lost control. And it's plain to see That a boy like me Has got so many Bad habits. Well, I'm off the rails My resistance fails Temptation got A hold on me. Well, I must confess 'Cause I can't regress All of these Bad habits. Well, it just ain't right But it's something I can't fight I can't stop going out and having fun Well, I try to be good But I knew I never could 'Cause I've got more bad habits than anyone

Ain't That Peculiar" is a 1965 song recorded by American soul musician Marvin Gaye for the Tamla (Motown) label. The single was produced by Smokey Robinson, and written by Robinson, and fellow Miracles members Bobby Rogers, Pete Moore, and Marv Tarplin. Ain't That Peculiar" features Gaye, with The Andantes on backing vocals, singing about the torment of a painful relationship.

Can't help myself, bad habits Well I'm running wild, lost control And it's a shame to think That a boy like me Has got so many, bad habits. Well I'm off the rails My resistence fails tempations got A hold on me And I can't refuse Because I always lose Can't help myself Bad habits. Well it just ain't right That it's something I can't fight I can't stop going out and having fun Well I tried to be good, But i knew i never could Cause i've got more bad habits than anyone

But with his third LP, 1991's A Little Ain't Enough, his sales took a tumble - one from which his solo career would never really recover. Still, Roth's solo ambitions remained simmering on the back burner. Speaking with Rolling Stone in 2013, he teased the eventual release of an album called Somewhere Over the Rainbow Bar & Grill, which he described as a "jukebox musical," and admitted that while he enjoyed getting on stage and performing the old hits with Van Halen, "in terms of taking the music past where we found it, I'm not sure where that's.
