Everything Will Be Alright in the End is the ninth studio album by American alternative rock band Weezer, released on October 7, 2014. It is Weezer's only album released by Republic Records, and the third produced by Ric Ocasek, who previously produced Weezer (1994) and Weezer (2001). Everything Will Be Alright in the End departs from the electronic pop production of Weezer's previous two albums, Raditude and Hurley, returning to a sound more reminiscent of the band's earlier albums.

Return to Ithaka Lyrics. Everything Will Be Alright in the End Album Art (Ft. Chris McMahon, Denise Bentulan, Scott Kinsey & Simon Vozick-Levinson) Lyrics. About Everything Will Be Alright in the End. Weezer’s Everything Will Be Alright In The End is a conscious back-to-basics effort produced by Ric Ocasek (The Cars), who produced their debut self-titled as well as their second self-titled record.

Weezer return to their roots here, hiring back original producer Ric Ocasek of The Cars to mold their indelible hooks into sleek punk rock–based new wave hits. Leader Rivers Cuomo mostly ditches his experimental side and focuses on guitar-based rock songs. Eulogy for a Rock Band celebrates the music’s potential brilliance. Lonely Girl features a blazing guitar solo, and I’ve Had It Up to Here shows off Cuomo’s expansive vocal range

Weezer's ninth studio album features contributions from Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino, along with Blue Album producer Ric Ocasek's return to the soundboard helm. The album is one of Weezer's most enjoyable in recent memory. The important word here is faceless. Cuomo does seek approval, but on Everything Will Be Alright in the End, he realizes that he needs it from a familiar source that he knows quite well: people who may have once been Weezer fans.

This album is the album any Weezer fan has been waiting for since the release of Pinkerton, where Hurley was a step in the right direction,This album is the album any Weezer fan has been waiting for since the release of Pinkerton, where Hurley was a step in the right direction, Everything Will Be Alright in the End is a triumphant stride. After opening the album with some static and cryptic samples playing over aEverything Will Be Alright In The End is a fantastic rock album. After opening the album with some static and cryptic samples playing over a heavy chugging guitar part that wouldn’t feel out of place alongside Hash Pipe, Ain’t Got Nobody immediately busts into one of the album’s best hooks. Just as the initial hook goes away, another one with emotional lift that recalls the soaring melodies of Pinkerton kicks in.

Weezer’s latest album, on the other hand, is often insincere - or at least it began that way - but always great. For the first time since The Green Album, they retreated to their heads and set out to prove something instead of just indulging every playful genre experiment on Cuomo’s mind  . All of this lends a slightly bizarre quality to Everything Will Be Alright in the End, one that becomes especially apparent after hearing more straightforward tunes like the Bethany Cosentino collaboration, Go Away.

Two songs into Everything Will Be Alright in the End, Rivers Cuomo sings "we belong in the rock world," a repudiation of the big beat experimentation of Raditude, a 2009 record that found Weezer working with such pop producers as Dr. Luke and Butch Walker

I'm a big Jack White fan and if it weren't for this album Lazzaretto would've been album of the year for me, but Weezer takes the cake. This album is really fun!
