Don't Stop Me Now" is a song by the British rock band Queen, featured on their 1978 album Jazz that was released as a single in 1979. Written by lead singer Freddie Mercury, it was recorded in August 1978 at Super Bear Studios in Berre-les-Alpes (Alpes-Maritimes), France, and is the twelfth track on the album. Musically, the song builds on Mercury's piano playing, with John Deacon and Roger Taylor providing a bass guitar and drums backing track.

Don’t Stop Me Now is one of Queen’s masterpieces, a song that’s aged well with time and landed third on Rolling Stone’s list of the Top 10 Queen Songs. It’s a simple song, an energetic song that sees lead singer Freddy Mercury on a high that he wants to stay in, letting nobody pull him down. Critically, the song performed well, releasing as a single after the release of album Jazz. Despite reaching number 9 on the UK charts and later going Platinum, it only hit 86 on the US charts
Other films that have used "Don't Stop Me Now" include: Blackball (2003) Amigos. 2011) Hardcore Henry (2015). In 2005, viewers of the BBC television program Top Gear named this "Greatest Driving Song Ever. The Jazz album had a mix of many different styles of music, although none of them were actually jazz. It got to on the US Albums chart and made in the UK. In 2006 a cover by McFly for the Sport Relief telethon was a hit in the UK.

Complete your Queen collection. Infamous for being a song Brian May didn't like much and originally released January 26, 1979, this grouping assembles all single releases where "Don't Stop Me Now" receives A-side/top billing ("In Only Seven Days" being the usual flipside track - except in Japan, North America and NZ/Australia where "More Of That Jazz" filled that spot).
